Global Tampere Education (GTE) is an open platform, where educational actors can meet and develop together their educational products, find partners and customers and promote full-range of Finnish education worldwide. It is a group officially established in 9.2015 and consists of so far six members: City of Tampere; Tampere Adult Education Centre (TAKK); Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences (JAMK), Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK); University of Tampere (UTA); Tampere University of Technology (TUT).
Education, Competence and Economic Development Services, City of Tampere is leading this platform, facilitating all members in developing products, finding partners and customers and promoting their services in the globe. It is initiated under the framework of Sino-Finnish Learning Garden between the Ministry of Education and Culture, Finland and the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.
The mission of Global Tampere Education is to formulate a functional model of collective Finnish education actors and stakeholders in order to answer the big-scale demand of the customers globally and guarantee a full-selection of high quality Finnish education and education technology.
